A tropical twist on a family favorite! If you like spicy with sweet, try it the optional chili flakes and Sriracha.
Pre-heat oven to 425˚F. On a pizza pan or baking sheet, generously dust surface with cornmeal. Roll out dough with rolling pin on floured surface place on pan. Arrange ingredients a thin layer of sauce, cheese, Canadian bacon, bell peppers, pineapple, and onions. Sprinkle a dusting of Italian seasoning blend and chili flakes (if using) and bake until done. Rotate crust during cooking so it is evenly cooked and crisp, approximately 18-25 minutes.
Drizzle with Sriracha if desired.
Pickled Red Onion
Combine all ingredients except onion in medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 5 minutes. Strain out solid ingredients and immediately place onions in hot liquid. Allow to cool to room temperature. Place in clean jar with lid and refrigerate 24 hours before using. Keep refrigerated for up to one week.
