Everyone loves ham salad, and you’ll really love this twist with roasted Shishito peppers. Makes a great sandwich for a picnic, or spread on toast points for a party snack.
To roast Shishito peppers, place washed dried peppers in bowl and toss with small amount of vegetable oil and pinch of salt. Heat sauté pan until very hot. Add peppers. Cook until they are slightly brown and blistered. Remove, and dice when cooled.
Place pickles, celery, onions, Worcestershire sauce, honey, and peppers in food processor blend till finely chopped. Add ham and blend to a spreadable consistency.
Remove and add to mixing bowl with mayonnaise and mustard. Adjust seasoning to taste. You may want to add additional mayonnaise or pickle juice.
